Why not just skip them and devote that money to things that really matter to guests — convenient time and location, good entertainment, delicious food. Since you’re not wealthy enough to give little diamond and gold trinkets from Cartier like The Beautiful People do, then why bother? In comparison, anything you can afford is tacky and cheap. Favors are just a Wedding Industry scam to get even more money out of you. For every person saying “Awww, isn’t that lovely” there are two thinking “Now I’m stuck with this darn peice of trash” so give it up. Anyone who thinks it’s odd or that something is missing is either trying to get you to buy stuff or is totally brainwashed by The Wedding Industry.
