How is a wedding done in India and what do the girls side and the boys side have to do?

It is really quite simple. The girls practically do all the work. First comes the haldi rasam. That’s when the girls side gets to together to put haldi on the girl. Then comes the mendi rasam. All the girls and women from the girls side get together and out on mendi (henna). After that come the marriage which means Yay! The ribbon cutting ceremony. That when the boy’s side and the girls side get together for the first time! The boy’s have to cut the ribbon in order to get to the bride. The boy’s side usually take a couple things that belong to the girls of the girl’s side. It’s pretty fun actually. The boy’s side is fun to but they don’t do as much things as the girl’s side. They do the haldi,shagun, (by the way shagun is also a ceremony) and also the ribbon. Well i spent much time working on this so i hope it helps. Best of luck!!! =)

Wedding then day after few days you put haldi on the brides hand with jago you will sing songs and you decorate the wedding to attend the ring ceremony where you get to attend the bridegrooms family over for the rice.
